What began as a small gathering in the heart of Springfield under the leadership of Rev. Emery Jenkins, John Shoats and our very first Pastor Matthew Hawkins, has grown into a vibrant community of faith. For over a century, we have stood as a pillar of stability, rooted in the Word of God and committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
THE GOSPEL FOUNDATION
In 1888, we formally established our commitment to Bible-teaching. This was a pivotal moment that solidified our identity as a church that prioritizes the Scriptures above all else, ensuring our message remains pure and our mission remains clear.
2026: A NEW ERA OF JOY
Today, under the leadership of Pastor Johnson we continue to walk in the light of the Gospel, welcoming families and seekers alike. We are a global church brand with a local heart, dedicated to sharing the joy of Christ in a world that often feels lost.
What We Believe
The Bible
We hold the Scriptures as the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God, the only authority for faith and practice.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, received by the unmerited gift of God's love in Christ alone.
